Ode Of Remembrance – Laurence Binyon

They went with songs to the battle, they were young.
Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow.
They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted,
They fell with their faces to the foe.

They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old:
Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning,
We will remember them.

They mingle not with their laughing comrades again;
They sit no more at familiar tables of home;
They have no lot in our labour of the day-time;
They sleep beyond England’s foam

COVID Cases Cause Closures

Soul Sanctuary, Gateway Recreaction Center, and Tommy Prince Community Club will not be hosting indoor bowls for a minimum of 2 weeks. Once MB bowlers can safely get back on the greens we’ll be sure to let you know. Stay healthy folks, err on the side of caution.

Linden Ridge Opportunity

Linden Ridge Lawn Bowling Club is surveying for interest if we were to host jitney bowling on Wednesday afternoons at Soul Sanctuary. The tentative start-up date would be October 28th. The cost per player will be $5.00 per afternoon. We need a minimum of ten (10) committed players to cover the rental of the gym. If you are willing to commit to jitney on Wednesday afternoons for ten weeks, please email  gchudrick@gmail.com no later than October 17th. If we get the ten participants required, confirmation of the start-up will be sent by email to those who have committed to play. Masks are mandatory unless actively playing. We will be operating within the Provincial Covid-19 occupancy guidelines set for Soul Sanctuary.
